Our Kandinsky Tree has been transformed into a Kandinsky Triskele.
The Triskele shape, or three spiral motif, appears in many ancient cultures but it is most commonly associated with Irish art and design. It is often referred to as a Celtic symbol but it in fact predates the arrival of the Celts in Ireland. The triskele is Neolithic art and be found on the entrance stone of Newgrange, a passage tomb that was around 5,200 years ago. Long before the Celts arrived.
