Today the girls team took on Boardsmill in our first home game of the league. The girls played their hearts out, with children from 4th, 5th and 6th classes making big contributions to the scoreboard. It was an intense close to the game, with their entire team fighting hard for a last minute goal but it was not to be. The girls were narrowly defeated, with a 2 point loss. It is wonderful to see a panel of 22 girls involved and enjoying the game. Thank to Ms Reilly for the guidance and preparations. The supporters were fantastic. Ms O'Brien's class had premium tickets for the game, see if you can spot them in the pictures!
The next game will be an away game, on Thursday May 5th @ 1p.m. when we take on Robinstown in Dunderry.
